Members that we shall miss:

Mihály Czinkota had graduated from the Hungarian National Academy of Acting, and earned a Golden Diploma. But because of the conditions in Hungary, he had joind relatives in the US. Here he was well known and lowed in Hungarian circles as a performer. He also often recited poems in his wonderful voice in our Hungarian Hall. After living in New York City for most of this life, he moved to the Upstate area, where he died on May 17, 2008.

Father István Mustos, Sch. P., a Piarist priest, former principal of Devon Prep School in Pennsylvania and later pastor of Saint Stephen Hungarian Church in Passaic, NJ, has died in Hungary, on April 29, on the 50th anniversary of his ordination into the priesthood. He was a former class mate of Sandor Balogh, so he often visited the Hall to say Hungarian language Mass for us.

Martin Majtényi of Waterbury, CT, also a long time member of the Society, died an April 3, 2008.

Paul Hutyansky formerly of Glens Fall/Greenwich, also a long time member, died in Florida on June 20.

May they rest in peace. Our sympathies to the grieving families.

Please also remember in our prayers the sick members of the Society, among them Mary Stanley and Peter Balogh, and others that we are not aware of. Finally, pray for our members and their family members who are fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan.
